The European Society for Periodical Research (ESPRit) is pleased to announce that its 13th annual international conference will take place at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, University of Málaga, from 3 to 5 September 2025.

This year’s conference explores the theme “Periodicals as Cultural Assemblages”, with a focus on the periodical as a dynamic form composed of diverse textual, visual, material, and social elements. Participants will examine how periodicals operate as sites of assemblage, bringing together disparate voices, formats, readers, and networks across time and space.

The conference programme is being finalized. All interested scholars, students, and members of the public are warmly invited to attend the sessions as audience members.
