This ESPRit seminar celebrates the launch of two ambitious new ERC Advanced Grant projects focused on periodical culture:
- Maaheen Ahmed’s "COPRINTS: A History of Color Through Illustrated Magazines (1890s–1950s)"
- Porscha Fermanis’ PanAsia: "Anticolonialism, Pan-Asianism, and Periodical Culture in Southeast Asia, c.1850–1920"
Professors Ahmed and Fermanis will introduce their projects and discuss the historical, paradigmatic, and methodological questions that underpin them. Their presentations will be followed by a Q&A.
