The 13th ESPRit Conference will be held at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the University of Málaga, located on the Teatinos campus. The campus is just outside the historic city centre and easily accessible via public transport.

13th ESPRit Conference – Málaga 2025
The European Society for Periodical Research (ESPRit) is pleased to announce that its 13th annual international conference will take place at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, University of Málaga, from 3 to 5 September 2025.
This year’s conference explores the theme “Periodicals as Assemblages”, with a focus on the periodical as a dynamic form composed of diverse textual, visual, material, and social elements. Participants will examine how periodicals operate as sites of assemblage, bringing together disparate voices, formats, readers, and networks across time and space.
The conference programme is being finalized. All interested scholars, students, and members of the public are warmly invited to attend the sessions as audience members.
