From the City Centre:

• By bus:
  Take bus line 11 from Paseo del Parque/Plaza de la Marina or Alameda Principal Sur, which are close to Calle Larios (main street), or in Avda. Andalucía; or line 8 from Calle Hilera (just behind El Corte Inglés). Get off at the stop “Facultad de Filosofía y Letras.”

  • Regular fare: €1.40  — drivers do not accept banknotes over €5

  • 10-ride card: €4.20 — available at most kiosks and newsstands

• By metro:
  Take Line 1 of the Málaga Metro from María Zambrano station to “Universidad” station.

  Take the Airport Express Line A from the airport to Málaga. Buses depart every 30 minutes until midnight.

The European Society for Periodical Research (ESPRit) is pleased to announce that its 13th annual international conference will take place at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, University of Málaga, from 3 to 5 September 2025.

This year’s conference explores the theme “Periodicals as Assemblages”, with a focus on the periodical as a dynamic form composed of diverse textual, visual, material, and social elements. Participants will examine how periodicals operate as sites of assemblage, bringing together disparate voices, formats, readers, and networks across time and space.

The conference programme is being finalized. All interested scholars, students, and members of the public are warmly invited to attend the sessions as audience members.
